Field Notes

Description:

Small Parasitic Wasp Species. Noticeable white stripe across Antenna. Black and white striped abdomen, Black and white spotted on front of body. Back legs are striped with Orange black and white. four front legs mostly orange.

Habitat:

Saw this particular wasp in my yard resting on a leaf. It sat still for quite awhile before flying around the plant and resting again

Notes:

One of two species of Ichneumon wasps I've seen in my yard.
