Notes:
I've always wanted to see a tortoise beetle, ever since I saw the first one right here on PN. That dream came true and more when I spotted 6 species in Colombia this past winter. I had hoped I would see one in Canada and that dream came true this past spring. At first I just thought this was a type of lady beetle that I wasn't familiar with. It wasn't until I got home and did some research that I learned this was a tortoise beetle, and I couldn't have been happier. I spotted this on the trail from Fireman's Park to Screaming Tunnels.
