Description:

Tarsier Conservation Area, Loboc, Bohol Island. Smallest known primate, nocturnal. Only found in the Philippines. Near threatened.

Habitat:

trees. A Tarsier sanctuary is maintained in the town of Corella (Bohol). Run by the Philippine Tarsier Foundation, it has a visitor centre and habitat preserve/sanctuary of 7000 m2 in a natural forest.
