Field Notes

Description:

common butterfly in meadows and roadsides in the east

Habitat:

temperate forest

Notes:

A few fritillaries flew around our campsite in Algonquin provincial park. I loved the blue and orange contrast when it landed on our camp chair. Pretty sure about the ID but it also looks similar to S. atlantis.
