Field Notes

Description:

Body green with stripes of neon green and orange, spots of black on the legs. Antennae have stripes black and white, distinguishing the genus. Nymphs of this genus also have a horn between their eyes.

Notes:

One of the most colorful nymphs of any insect you can find in the area, it almost looks alien. This one was resting on Multiflora Rose. Found at Barbara A. Beiser Field Station.
