jprat001 thanks for the ID. It is arborescens. It is also called Red Hot Poker even though the kniphofia is too...that's why latin names are so helpful!
Our Aloe vera is flowering right now. so beautiful!
This one could be Aloe arborescens. the red hot poker (kniphofia) plant is a separate plant with the same kind of blooms (they have the same subfamily as aloes i believe).
