Field Notes

Description:

A plant with very colourful flowers which stands out from the rest of the plants and flowers surrounding it. I noted that the plant´s leaves and flowers are extremely hard and resistant. This one was found on a spot where it recieved direct sunlight during most of the day and in a place where daily rainshowers by the afternoon or end of the day are common.

Habitat:

Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, Brasil
