Description:

This is the first time I see one of these beetles on a shrub branch. I don't know if it's a Caterpillar Hunter (Calosoma sp.) or Pinacate beetle
(Eleodes obscurus). All similar black beetles are known as Pinacates in Mexico.

Habitat:

Shrubs.
