Field Notes

Description:

It is shiny and reddish brown. The head, antennae and bones are brighter, more yellowish. Earwigs have characteristic cerci, a pair of forceps-like pincers on their abdomen. They belongs to the family Forficulidae.

Habitat:

Forest edge under dead wood and leaves.
