Field Notes

Description:

San Pedro flowering at 3:00 in the morning.

Habitat:

Potted plant in my front yard, cloned from a fallen branch of a large local specimen.

Notes:

Absolutely heavenly scent, could smell it more than 5 feet away. This must be the way the plant attracts pollinators, as it flowers only in the middle of the night.

A little over 3 years now, and it's flowering again, this time with 4 flowers instead of one!
