Description:

Small round, green leaves with white veins.

Habitat:

Spotted in shaded, moist areas on a trail by Lake Hodges.

How neat. Apparently it's not the season for flowering because I didn't see anything but green leaves. Wikipedia says it's a garden plant, but I saw nothing about it being an herb so I'm not sure I could add it to the Herbs and Spices or Vegetable Varieties missions.
You're welcome Coral. The flowers of the nasturtium are edible. I think they are a little peppery, and they make a nice orange and yellow splash in a salad.
