Field Notes

Description:

orangey-red in color, with seven symmetrical black spots, and two white spots on either side of the head.

Habitat:

Found in community college butterfly garden, and several other locations.
Several have also been spotted in my own backyard, along with other types of lady beetles. They have become somewhat of an infestation in our home garden, and seem to truly enjoy eating our home grown red malabar spinach.
