Field Notes

Description:

A small golden yellow beetle about 10mm long with a dome shaped body and glossy elytra.

Habitat:

eucalyptus forests

Notes:

I spotted this beautiful beetle on a gum tree (pic #5). He dropped to the ground when I tried to hold the leaf steady for a photo. Had to photograph him on a twig - then placed him back on the tree.
