Description:
The gorgeous red flowers of this native wildflower attract people as well as pollinators. Unfortunately, over-picking has made it somewhat scarce in some areas. Its nectar attracts butterflies and hummingbirds, the latter of which it depends upon for pollination due to the deep tubular shape.
