Field Notes

Description:

Female, dark brown/black butterfly with a white stripe and series of blue slashes on each wing pair -

male http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/8260282

Habitat:

This one was in a butterfly garden, however, we saw them flying free all over the country.

Notes:

Tropical butterflies seem even more reluctant too land than the ones in more temperate climates and I got only a few spottings outside the garden.
