Description:

Family:
A member of the mint family Lamiaceae, it is a florida native plant.
Crush leaves and you will smell mint! The thick pointed leaves are in whorls of 4, and the pale flowers are in whorls at the tips of the branches.

Habitat:

Found in open areas of the Florida scrub in dry sandy soil.
