It was a great season for fungi, and this large species was growing next to a rock in the yard.

Thanks again Nicholas :) This was in my yard which is in the Western Foothills here in Maine...the location is up on the map if that helps :) We always have a surplus of mushrooms, but I'm unable to identify which are the "safe" ones...

I love to eat chanterelles or Pfifferlinge like we call them in Germany :-)
