I thought I would post one of my old monarch spottings to brighten up a wet & windy December day!

I find it so amazing - how did the viceroy evolve to look so much like the monarch, the black tiger & spicebush swallowtails to look like the poisonous pipevine swallowtail... Maybe there ought to be an 'Imposters' mission!
I pressed Favorite so the photos would be together so I could compare. I got it now! HA! Monarch and Viceroy. OK, but they do still look alike. Beautiful photos.
