Description:
About 2 cm wide and 1.5 cm thick. Moderately hard but "pithy" and light-weight. A wood fungus growing on a dead Prunus tree trunk. The upper surface ( about 1 mm thick) appeared to have pores as seen in pics #4 & #5. Part of the surface had been eaten.

Would like some help identifying this fungus ! There were two growing on this log.
