Field Notes

Description:

Pale yellow to brownish crab, blending perfectly with sand color. Varying in sizes from realy tiny to 3-4 cm.

Habitat:

Burrows on sandy beaches all over Mahe island.

Notes:

I guess it is some kind of Ghost crab. Wheather it is Ocypode ceratophalma (which I doubt, becouse these didnt have little horns above the eyes) I dont know. So anyone with some more crab knowledge please help!
