Field Notes

Description:

Blue and black with touches of white.

Habitat:

Spider lily plant just outside the boundary wall. It has been raining HEAVILY for the past few days and likely the butterfly is finding it difficult to fly. The flowers have nectar as does the Ixora plant nearly; it makes sense to stay put.

Notes:

I see this butterfly quite frequently but I donot seem to have host plants for it to lay eggs on.
