You're right, i see it now, they're very similar but not the same, thanks again for your help... I really have learned a lot from you
At frist sight I also would have agreed with Ptolyca. It is indeed VERY similar to my proposed Frisia (also called Anthanassa tulcis, I will check the actual taxon later). My argument for Frisia: There are 3 white/creamy bands on the hindwing like in your shot: 1 thick/broad one and 2 smaller ones. The second one is the important one. In your shot this 2nd is clearly visible. In Ptolyca this 2nd band is usually completely missing or only extended until the middle of the hindwing. In your shot all 3 bands are following along the whole hindwing. So that's why I think this one is Anthanassa frisia tulcis. But the rest I must admit are for also "identical". http://www.flickr.com/photos/dominikhofer/4106592803/in/set-72157625504461039 http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/8080425 http://tolweb.org/Anthanassa_frisia http://mothphotographersgroup.msstate.edu/JCGM/JCGMB02.shtml
