Field Notes

Description:

At the time I didn't take the time to get a closer picture as I was in a rush, now I kinda regret it after finding out what it is! I seen this plant a few times, very beautiful!
/
Unlike most plants, it is white and does not contain chlorophyll. Instead of generating energy from sunlight, it is parasitic, more specifically a myco-heterotroph. /
