Field Notes

Description:

Brown back, black breast crescent, yellow under wings and tail.
You usually see Flickers near the ground, but this one was high up on the electric pole and really surprised me as I expeced a Red-bellied instead

Habitat:

Woods, likely prefer tree cavaties for their young. Eaters of insects.
