Asiatic Liones

I saw a documentary a while back about how they are being reintroduced into the wild in parts of the country. They had a whole team that were responsible for monitoring them & educating the local communities so they didn't harm them. I understand this has been successful & they are once more breeding in the wild.

Very nice! I understand that thankfully asiatic lions are making a comeback in India - was she in the wild or in captivity Kartik?
