Description:

Leaves are very hard and have little spikes on the margins.

Habitat:

I found this flower growing at altitudes up to 4,000 meters (13,123 feet) in one of the volcanoes of central Mexico.

Notes:

It's a very cool plant!!!

Possibly a species of Erynigum. It's called Sea Holly in England & survives in very harsh conditions. Very architectural!
