Description:

large brown and white sea birds that feed on fish

Habitat:

bayside

Notes:

The pelicans were part of a large number of shore birds feeding on small schooling fish at the bay's edge, I can remember when this was a threatened species in Callifornia in the 60's and am relieved to see their numbers increase all up and down the coast
