Description:

Presented here is a juvenile of this very common bird from Old World flycatcher (Muscicapidae) family. At this stage, it sports grey-black streaked back, whitish spotted breast, and distinguished large cream-coloured supercilium - later on to become that flamboyant pale-red and black flycatcher.

Habitat:

Heaths near sandy beaches and protected dunes.
