Peggy, I'm wondering if you haven't found something a bit more rare than snow geese in this photo? Snow geese have black wingtips and these don't appear to have that characteristic, although it is hard to tell from this photo. Also the profile doesn't look quite right; snow geese tend to be pretty chunky birds. I think what you have here are trumpeter swans. Compare the flight photos on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trumpeter_Swan to those on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snow_Goose. What do you think?
