Field Notes

Description:

Small brown birds - dark brown and black feathers with a light brown underbelly, short black beak.

Habitat:

A lush yard near Lake Killarney in central Florida. The trees are tall, bushes thick and plants well-watered. It's a very friendly place for flora and fauna. This spider was in a far corner of the yard, atop some bushes in the shade of a tree.

Notes:

I added this spotting to the Global Flight mission because in the last picture the bird had hopped off it's branch and was in the act of taking flight.

Looks like both sparrows, but I found some other images of Chipping Sparrows that are spot on. Thanks for the help!
