Description:

This looks to me like a cross between a moth and a mantis. It does not have antennae like either. It was 1 cm or less in size.

Habitat:

In an urban environment by the road.

I think it is one of the-- Fulgoridae or Lantern bugs .They come in all shapes and sizes , but I don't know the actual species.
