Description:

Young adult approximately 6 inches long. This animal appears to be parasitized Note the head and right front foot) and has a slightly deformed tail.

Habitat:

Rural road on a wet paved road.

Yes, AntónioGinjaGinja, diseases are a natural part of nature, it is unclear at this point if this is a normal thing that has been going on or if this one is something new or if this one is something old, that was just under-documented. I will be asking some friends in the know and post what I find out.

Congrats Lisa for your 700 one,very interesting spotting,however is allways sad to see a hill animal,but life is not maked to be nice to our eyes,so your spotting remind us that,desises are natural processes,hope she make it :-)
