Description:

A small fly with striped wings resting on a plant that seems to flower into a mass of stamens.

Habitat:

Preserved pine rocklands

Notes:

Couldn't seem to find an ID for either. The fly resembles a Signal Fly but didn't find a good match on Bugguide.
