Field Notes

Description:

The white pelican had been an endangered species. I am very lucky to have caught these birds on "film." If I had realized that they were endangered when I was there taking their pictures, I'd have taken more care and tried to capture a few more shots. I am guessing because it is December, they had been migrating. For more info on these birds, follow the link in the notes. If these are the ones from Alberta, from what I read, I was lucky to see them here in Texas.
