Field Notes

Description:

A small fly with very short abdomen. Not very concerned with my activities... maybe a very fresh, dopey one. Exploring the stems of an acacia. About 12mm long.

Habitat:

In a local nature reserve.

Notes:

"...Rhagadolyra is close to Sapromyza but the frons doesn't project in front of the eyes as much in the latter as seen here..." thanks to Tony D (BowerBird) <br>
