Description:
I accidentally knocked a rotten old rustgill fungi clump off the base of a eucalyptus tree and behind it was a huge number of Tenebrionid beetles of at least two species. Estimated about 30 overall and the most numerous one was the pie-dish type. Largest about 15mm long.
Habitat:
In a local nature reserve.
