Well hey, your two loves are all in one place! Luckily Ganoderma are last a while, so if you can remember the spot where you found these, they'll most likely be there (assuming the bugs or other fungophiles didn't already get to it)!
Thank you for the information. I agree with you. I wish I would have know at the time, I love fungi and I am an artist, it would have been fun to sketch on a mushroom.
Seems to be from the group Ganoderma (conks), maybe a young G. applanatum, judging by the white pore surface and non-varnished surface crust. If it is, you can sketch anything on the pores! (It's common name is Artist's Conk, after all). Nice find. :)
