I hope to see this in person. Im not sure if it thrives in tropical places but yeah, this plant is so beautiful.
Looking on the web now that I know its ID, I find that its been taken to Europe and used as a garden plant. Good idea. It isn't native to very much of Oregon, just the southwest interior, so I hadn't seen it before.
