Field Notes

Description:

About 6 inches long and fearsome looking. It was lurking on some evergreens on the side of a path at Turtleback Zoo in New Jersey. I barely caught sight of him while walking and holding my little daughter..incredible sureness about it's movements and it was not scared that I picked it up with a stick..

Notes:

I'm not sure if the species are native or have hitched a ride to the Americas..
