green and black tropical butterfly with small "tails" on the hind wing

Habitat:

Notes:

This was a lovely butterflly - we saw it flying over the Tortuguero river and Rio Frio as well

Malachite was my first thought,but this one clearly has tails on the hindwing and the book shows no tails on the malachite
