Description:

These little chickens are very calm and can used as pets. They come in a variety of colors and are very adorable. In Williamsburg, they are kept in a large coup with netting at the top to stop predators from getting in. They have really soft fur and small wings.

plus (last time we spoke!) 2 german shepherds, a rottweiller puppy, a pony, 2 donkeys, a cockerel, indian runners & aylesbury ducks!
A good friend of mine in England has about 15 silkies - they are free range & she often finds them snuggled up to her german shepherd dogs!
