Field Notes

Description:

Medium sized, all-black plumage, beak and legs with a white iris. Looks like other Oceania members of the corvus family but slightly smaller. Separate status from the "Australian Raven' in 1967.

Habitat:

Most of Australia. Overlaps range with Australian Raven but not as extensive.

Notes:

Also more social and more omnivorous than Australian Raven.
Highly intelligent.
