Flaxleaf Fleabane

Erigeron bonariensis, also Conyza bonariensis, and known by a dozen or more common names, is an erect perennial herbaceous plant in the family Asteraceae. It has been naturalised in Australia and is very common in southeast Queensland, but originates somewhere in the tropical Americas. It develops a basal rosette of leaves at first, and its upright branched stems can grow up to 1 metre tall. As seeds mature, the flower-heads become fluffy, globular in shape, and turn whitish in colour, and seeds are dispersed by the wind.
