Description:

These are the only spiders to have a ball-like body structure and long, thin legs. The legs are much longer than the body. Not like other spiders, they have a fused body and One pair of eyes. They are actually closely related to scorpions, but they are not venomous. Daddy long legs eat, small vegetation and animal matter. Predators that will feed on daddy long legs are crane flies, birds, and other larger spiders, and some dogs or cats. Most daddy long legs live in basements, attics, or dark corners.

Habitat:

In the forest behind Watkinson.
