Field Notes

Description:

A non-venomous snake that is black with white or yellow striped which appear to look like chains. That is how this animal gets its name

Habitat:

Woods or where there are bodies of water

Notes:

This guy was very calm and didn't bite us at all. We took him nearer to the creek for he wouldn't be so close to the house
