The size of a common clearwing butterfly I think.

Habitat:

On a trail through rain forest at around 1300 .

Notes:

Another of the many attractive day-flying moths seen on this trip - many just this one day. On my wander down to the river from the lodge on the circular trail.

Thanks Daniele. I see similarities but whether they are related is a different matter. I will see if I can find one like mine under that genus.
