Deer tick (unengorged male)

Cindy, I usually I don't spot them until I find them attached to me when I shower - not cool at all! :) Alice, thanks for the warning. I pick up 5 or 6 of these guys every week in the summer no matter what precautions I take. Even if I wear long sleeves & long pants they somehow find a way in, & even drenching myself with deet only has the effect of making me feel ill! They are such tenacious little b's. I did get tested for lymes last year & was positive for the antigens but thankfully only at a low level.
