Field Notes

Description:

Shell about 3cm high with short siphonal canal. Colour varies, but is basically ash-grey to cream, often marked or patterned with dark brown spirals.

Habitat:

On rocky shores,in crevices and among barnacles(on which it preys) in the middle shore region.
