Field Notes

Notes:

While out for a New Years Day walk, this little mourning dove followed along through the trees. I love their call...many morning during the spring and summer I wake to them "singing" from my roof top. During the summer I have one family that frequents my yard, but during the winter the numbers rise to around 17. The are shy birds, but fun to watch.
