Description:
Decapoda: Brachyura: Gecarcinucidae. Gecarcinucids (true freshwater crabs) of the Philippines are currently poorly described.
Habitat:
I saw a population of this particular crab clinging on the mossy rocks around Bucal/Kilangin falls in Liliw, Laguna, Philippines. The animal handled and pictured was not harmed and was immediately returned to its habitat.
